The Back Mountain Bloomers Garden Club held its eighth biennial Tour of Back Mountain Gardens and raised close to $20,000 for the Anthracite Scenic Trails Association (ASTA)

The Back Mountain Bloomers Garden Club held its eighth biennial Tour of Back Mountain Gardens and raised close to $20,000 for the Anthracite Scenic Trails Association (ASTA), an organization dedicated to developing and maintaining the Back Mountain Trail. The Trailhead at the new ‘Mile 7’ area off Dorchester Drive, Dallas, will be dedicated to the Back Mountain Bloomers Garden Club, and a bench to honor them will be placed at the Trailhead to acknowledge approximately $90,000 the Bloomers have raised from the eight garden tours.  ‘Mile 7’ will be called the Judith and David Rimple Loop Trail in honor of their founding of ASTA and longtime membership in the Back Mountain Bloomers Garden Club.
